The Ballarat Community News Publications Network was established in 2019 as a collaboration between the City of Ballarat, the Brown Hill Progress Association and the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House.
The purpose of the Network is to connect volunteers and organisations across Ballarat who are supporting their community by publishing local community newsletters and newspapers.
We meet four times each year (online or in-person) and many members also attend the annual Community Newspaper Association of Victoria conference.
New and emerging publications are welcome to join the network, share ideas and resources and connect with others working on similar projects across Ballarat.
