The Ballarat East Neighbourhood House welcomes anyone who would like to volunteer their time and skills. Volunteering provides an opportunity for people to meet others with similar interests, build their confidence and to make a difference in the community.

People can help out by volunteering their time during community events, housekeeping, cleaning, general maintenance, helping out in the office, newsletter production and distribution and support for group activities such as history and walking. People with expertise in areas of interest to the community may also be willing to run a group activity on a voluntary basis.

Volunteers have opportunities for training, in addition to ongoing support. All volunteers will require a Working With Children and Police Check, and we can assist you with applications and cost if you do not already have them.

We would like to thank our current and past volunteers for their ongoing support and efforts. Activities such as gardening, yoga, tai chi, mosaics, art and craft and drawing would not be possible without your time and assistance.

If you are considering volunteering, or would like some more information, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
