Mat Pilates is a form of Pilates exercise which focuses on core strength, flexibility and overall body awareness through controlled movements and breathing techniques. The exercises often target the deep stabilising muscles of the body, including the abdominals, back and pelvic floor, but also engage other muscle groups for balance and support.
Mat Pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, and body alignment, while also promoting mindfulness and relaxation. It's accessible to people of all fitness levels because it can be modified to suit individual needs and abilities.
