Volunteers and students on placements can apply for a national police check at a reduced fee of $19 (instead of the full $50.50).
Organisations registered with Victoria Police will be provided with a Community Volunteer Fee (CVF) number. This number is to be used to verify the applicant’s volunteer status when applying for a police check and will allow the volunteer to have their check at the reduced fee.
Organisations need to register for a CVF number by completing and returning a 1-page PDF form.
